If it's a rare coin that is worth millions, I'd get a stick...pick at it...get a blade of grass or two...pick up the coin...and start running to the nearest sink while screaming, "Ooo! Ooo! Ooo! Ewe! Ewe! Ewe!"

So let's say a coin was on the ground hidden amongst a thick patch of grass. The cow is minding his/her business eating the grass. Pulling and tugging he/she pulls up a load of grass with the coin stuck in it. Gulp. Down the coin goes. Now it digests. Poof! A coin in the mine field.
