It is the word of God written by men filled with The Holy Spirit. Most
of the new Testament was written by the Apostle Paul. The first 5 books are called the Pentateuch Written by Moses Genesis - Deuteronomy The Books of History Joshua - Ester The Books Of Poetry Job - Song of Songs The Major Prophets Isaiah - Danial The Minor Prophets Hosea - Malachi New Testament History Matthew - Acts Pauline Epistles Romans - Philemon General Epistles Hebrews - Jude Revelations |

The Bible is a book, a collection of stories whose story was meant to
closely follow the historical events of a people. Those people had a belief in one God, they were monothiests. It is thought that there were/are many stories, of the same historical nature, whose telling for many generations was by oration, word of mouth. There came a time, in history, when the doctrine of the faithful followers began to change due to events some believed were the fulfillment of prophecy. The changes in this doctrine caused unrest within the 'group' because it was not being consistantlly adhered to. So some decided that they would group the stories into codex, of books, that way the stories could not be changed anymore. At some point, without mass production of such material, it was determined that there should be only ONE Codex, dictating a single religious doctrine. This became the Bible. It has since been edited many times through translations, through interpretation and continues to this day to be a source of conflict, confusion, and hypocracy. It also continues to be a sourse of some great moral code, and includes many kind, caring, and peacfull followers. |

Bored, I don't see anything wrong with what Red posted. It's her opinion
and she's entitled to it. I find you suggesting everyone to skip over it rather rude. |

It is one half of the story of Mankind.
It is one half of the code which God would like us to live by. It is but one half of the Word of God. It is the Word of God by Man. I am serching with all my spirit but half of the truth is missing. Where is the other half? Where is the half that is the Word of God by Woman? |
