so i don't have my picture up because i dont really think i will meet someone here - I don't have MSN or some chat program, so i'm gonna see what you peeps think of this...

Why do women seem more impressionable than men to me?

why does Sex and the City and all that other stuff on tv have a longer lasting impact on girls' personalities, than Terminator II for guys?

how can women stop thinking of themselves as depreciable assets that need to elbow their way with whatever they have to survive.

I find people who think of themselves as victims to be the most dangerous type. They feel that it's alright to compensate by being selfish or inconsiderate.

How do we fix that, and why does TV still make all that sick ****?

i hate to generalize, but it's not my fault, it's Language's fault.

Sex and the City was a great show IMO. Yes, silly, way out of the realm of reality in many aspects but what I loved, loved loved about that show was the friendship among these 4 women. They disagreed, argued, were as different as could be, yet they accepted and loved those differences. They reminded me of my girls, who I miss dearly as they all live out of state.

As to the rest of the OP post, I guess I'm not really getting it. I don't know ANY woman who consider themselves to be a "depreciable asset." There are some girls who do, but no women.

As for tv crap, if people watch it, they will make it.

thanks - haven't watched enough to note the intimate inseperable values of friendship the show communicates.

to me its about sex in a city - casual, self-justified, debaucherous, degenerate sex between hundreds of strangers.

probably what people want to see at the end of the day (hehe) but why pretend to be something it isn't?
