No. Some can go too far showing it in unhealthy ways though, like smothering and overprotecting behaviors that can possibly be detrimental to either their physical or mental health at some point, maybe even longterm.

depends on what you mean by love. What is your definition of love? For some it is being distant. Others it is buying gifts. While others it is spending time with them and being involved. I guess if it is healthy behaviors then there is not an issue. but if it is unhealthy such as buying them everything they ask and never really punishing them then yes you can love them to much.

In some respects I suppose it is possible. I have always had the tendancy to over protect my children. IDK if that is loving too much. It is about balance of course and letting them spread their wings and catching them when/if they fall. As some posts point out there are ways of stifling our children "loving" them.
