Topic: People who ask you to be on their friends' list | |

And you have no idea who they are! What is up with that. I must be
missing some information about how this works. Could someone explain? Thanks, MJ |

Well what gets me is that they don't message you or respond to you in
threads first to chat a little first. Getting familiar with each other first would take the weirdness away We really don't know anyone online. LOL do you delete people who don't mail or talk to you in threads first? I try not to. I usually automatically delete those looking for intimate encounters that have never messaged me or spoke to me in threads. |

No, I don't automatically delete people for no reason, but I find it odd
that this grown man (55) wants me to be on his friend's list, but he never even e-mailed me or indicated he wants to get to know me. I think knowing someone is a prerequisite for being a friend (or enemy!) |

Ew, he's separated. Anyway, I am blocked from replying to his e-mail!
Weird. |
|
|
|
I agree. Otherwise it's just odd LOL
Why is that usually the older men that are so many years older than you try to holla? |
|
|
|
eww yeh that's weird lol
|

Well, I just meant he is not a kid looking to fill up his friend's
space, which is something my kids would do, and I understand they like to do that. I don't mess with separated men. #1, then tend to LIE about being separated. #2, I don't want someone fresh out of a relationship, on the rebound. |

I agree with 1# and 2# rivergirl.
I like getting to know people before putting them on my friends list. I have gotton to know most through the threads. Some have asked to be my friend and I did'nt know them and had never seen them post either. ??? |

I decline as well... I am not looking to have tons of people that i
don't even ever talk to on my friends list. I think it's only polite to at least say hi first or something ... grrrr |
