Going out with my friends tonight. After the week I've had at work I need a couple of drinks!!

Tonight I get the joy of going out and seeing if I get to put my "seal of approval" on a gal pals new beau. Hopefully, there will be drinks for said approval.

Tomorrow night, on the other hand, is another matter all together.
Well, provided my date gets his ducks in a row and makes it to town early enough. If he does, he'll be rewarded with a nice dinner that will start with a nice spring salad, followed by pork tenderloin slow cooked in the crock pot with mushrooms, onions, garlic, carrots and a dash or two of my special creole seasoning with mashed taters and green beans. To be followed with strawberry cheesecake.

Then, if we can still move, a night out dancing. And after dancing... who knows.

I am staying in tonight and relaxing with a big glass of wine. Doing my best to not spend money this week since I'm going on vacation a week from Monday .

I think I will get out one of those plastic Martguerita glasses with the cactus on the stem...

and then pop open a fresh can of diet cola...

I may get adventuress and put in an ice cube or two...

and pretend I am drinking that stuff in the commercial where they say...(whatever the name of the liquor is I can't remember) on the rocks....


and then swing around, although not very fast or I will probably fall over...and look in the mirror on the wall and laugh!!

or I might just drink it straight up warm out of the can like I usually do...
