Actually he wants to work in the administration part of athletics. He just spent a year doing an internship at the university of California at Berkeley and he really liked the San Francisco area. At 24 he has seen more of this country than me but I guess that is the way it is with younger people today. No one stays in one spot. Haven't seen him in 7 months and that is another thing I have had to get use to. Oh, it would kill me...I am soooo blessed. All 5 of my kids live within a few minutes of me. We get to spend lots of time together. I also have 10 grand-babies. My kids haven't lived close to me in years...it's hard but you get used to it...always have a good time when we're together! No Mary, it's not like that..I raised my children to be independant and they are...But I'm not into their everyday lives..we love each other and talk on the phone constantly..the grandkids and I text and email all the time..we're there for each other at all times, just a phone call away. My kids are independent too....I'm just happy they are independent close by... I do not have any family, parents, in-laws...all have passed on. My Bro is in Texas so I am glad we have each other I understand that....mine is scattered everywhere here in Texas , Miss and Ark....At least I'm not a built in babysitter!

Never had okra.But if its a veg. I would probably like it. I love veggies! Can you make gumbo with chicken or just leave out the shrimp? Yeap you can have chicken with it :) Always good with some sauage in it too. It is really a Louisana dish it is like a soup in restaurant but we make it a bit thicker like a stew more veggie in it Stewed Tomatoes, onion, corn, okra. you can serve it over rice. Google it or Tim might can send you the recipe :) Well it sounds really good. My niece made something like that once but I think she called it jambalaya or something like that. It was really good. Jambalaya is entirely different, but just as good! Cajun food, you can't beat it! 'specially the gator!..yummy How is it different? it's not a stew! A rice dish, bet if you look in the rice section they have them with all the spices you just add the meat&veggies you like. About time you showed back up lady! So nice to be missed :)

Now that is the downside of living close. They don't understand that after spending 40 hours with hundreds of kids all week, why I need down time....I should be over joyed to babysit...
