Jessie ...does cali get hurricanes No Hurricanes here, I am glad about that. One of the dykes broke here once about 25 years ago. Water was everywhere and in some places up to 8 feet high. As long as I've lived here just went through one Hurricane last Year. The one in 83 I missed was a year I moved away. Was back the next. Carold, I was wondering what happened to you....you been on the other side? I was in one back in the 80's down at McAllen. Last year, I had just set up for a rally in Lake Summerville when Ike was coming in....I got the heck out of Dodge! I was all alone with my flash light and water in tub :) I lucked out had my electric back by 4 the next day. Some not so lucky. Had people coming by to charge up there cell phones and eat. Next time you go to the lake will have to make plans :) you're always welcome!

All this talk about driving on ice is getting me cold. That is why I would probably not live anywhere that does not have summers in the 100's. Its even worse where Wayne lives than where I do.

Even when I has someone to stick them on I wasn't allowed too.Cause they were too cold. you are too much of a lady ,,, most women would just stick them anyway lol It's in the rule book...16th page...1st chapter....always put yout cold feet on your partner! is that in your rule book?????

my nephew drives those big things that carries cars. for Chrysler think. they are different to drive ,,,they sway alot He got really hurt one time. The auto lift let go and left him dangling .totally disconnected his shoulder and he had to have surgery twice. He was out of commission for a long time. those trailers are dangerous ,, pins break in them all the time lots of stress on them My shop specialized in working on car haulers. I totally rebuilt several of those trailers, all hydraulics & sliding posts.

I have only gone skiing a few times and it was fun even though I felt like a human Popsicle the whole time.
