Okay guys. If you ask a gal out for a date last week, it would be nice to check back in a day or two before to set up a time and location. I don't like spontaneous first dates, especially lately since I'm usually out working on fence or with the animals. Showing up sopping wet with sweat or bleeding from slices and dices from wire or trees.
Grrrr. |

So you'd rather have a no-show because she has no idea when or where to meet you?!

Are you questioning why the female hasnt followed up with you? If that is the case, take the bull by the horns and follow up yourself. If it is fear that she may cancel, well than all the MORE reason why you should follow up so that you dont sit there all dressed up with nowhere to go and feeling like poop!
Either way, congratulations on the date! Hope it all goes well! |

I have called and he had company over and he didn't get back with me. Dropped an email, he wrote back saying we were still on but with no info. I'm not gonna continuously chase. Obviously its not that important.

????? If I made a date, last week you would have known time and place??? So you'd rather have a no-show because she has no idea when or where to meet you?! Nothing was finalized except that it was tonight. We were supposed to get back with each other during the week. And I tried. |

Oh, ok, I see now...I would do the exact same thing and maybe even more.
If he asked you and cant be bothered with the proper follow up, than make plans to do something else. I think you are 100% right. Just make sure you make plans to do something else for that time so that he cannot pop up now that he has the time, and so that you dont feel stood up. That is the way I would handle it...but remember I am still very much single....lol |
