I'll only give you red as "almost as good" if it's ROASTED red. That changes the flavor entirely & allows it to at least compete with green!

That changes the flavor entirely & allows it to at least compete with green! the only way to make a good red it to roast it.no self respecting cook uses unroasted pods..my grand mother said always roast them..tenderly.

no, not from these parts. since i've been in abq i've heard about three things: 1.) green chilis 2.) santa fe 3.) green chilis i don't understand the universal excitement related to these green chilis, but then again, i'd eat food in the space paste form if i could find it.

thanks. i guess we can agree on one thing, green chilis are better for you than opiates. seriously man, keep buying the chilis and stay away from the opiate aisle
