I don't know... if I had been there I may not have been all yelly or anything, but I CERTAINLY would have run off and called the cops at least. That doesn't really take all that much guts, just some brains and compassion.

Yes, most people really are that useless. I'm always disgusted by people who laugh when someone slips and falls. How is that funny? What if they really hurt themselves? 
My all time favorite saying- "SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS..... " |

That doesn't really take all that much guts, just some brains and compassion. For the most part people are scared to do anything, it is typically a new situation they have never been in and they don't know how to act...so they follow suit and wait for someone else too. Luckily there are still people like me and you that will just act and not wait.
