Do you find that some women make a point of bragging about their admirers by seeking to "complain" to anyone who will listen that some "creep" is "stalking" them.

Are these legitimate cases of women experiencing actual fear or concern over a man's attempts at winning her over or is it simply a way of* screaming "look at me and how unbelievably desirable i am!"

I'm with you Jasmine, it really is a ploy for attention whether they acknowledge it or not. On this site specifically all you have to do is block them.... how hard is that?

The latter. But more in terms of "Maybe if I can convince myself, I can convince some other people too."

I'm too sexy for my hat. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I have never understood the stalker thing. How can someone stalk on-line?

*Shrugs* I'm not sure. Maybe for some women. Others may be serious and not like the fact some guy/gal is viewing their page more than five or six times a day...seeking them in the threads...and writing them messages of their intention with out the slightest clue that they are overdoing it. *Shrugs again* slaphead

I know I'm cute but really I don't get that much email or guys stalkerizing me.... why would they waste their time with someone who doesn't feed into it?

I haven't been around here long enough to run into these sort of women. but I do believe that it is impossible to express concern over somebody stalking you without getting a little bit of an ego boost. Even if it is unintentional.

Yes, I've noticed that some of the stalking complaints are registered by people that whine they cannot get a date. I wonder why that is? Attention seeking seems like a logical answer.

It can be done, but it certainly isn't usually spectacularly effective.

It's a little bit like having your oil changed on line.

I did have one for a little while. I can introduce you to her if you like. I don't think she's stalked anyone in quite some time and is likely on the prowl for fresh meat.
