 I live in beautiful Northern California
 and even though it may be in the same state soo farrr
it is Not to be confused at all  with Southern California
 I have lived here in Northern Cal for over 37 years from New England originally
 & would like to speak with & meet more local  like ~ minded men
 so that is partly why i am posting this exclusively for Northern California
I am currently in the 916 area code

Traditionally the state has doled out 60% of transportation funding south of that line and 40% to the north. Maybe Pt. Conception (sp) begins S. CA along the coast???????? The wind there could easily divide the state in half. 
I have traveled through both parts of the state many times
& i used to live in Ventura when i was in junior high school
and while the South has some charm,  I like Northern California waaaay better :
and i think the beauty of the North rivals the south big time
