I was talking to one of my friends and mentioned I needed to shave my legs ( which I just did ) and my friend says " oh, you must have a date tonight"
I said no... I jut shave for me. Not that I personally enjoying shaving but I do like keeping myself up and I'm sure not gonna run around in shorts or capris without shaving my legs first. And she seemed really surprised. Apparently she only shaves when she has a date (right now she's living with her bf) or if he man says something. Tho she does agree that if she's gonna wear shorts or a dress, she does shave first.
So my question is, how many women shave or do something for themselves without having to have a man as the reason?
And men... how many of you dated women that when you started dating them, they always did stuff to make themselves look good... and then when you've been together for awhile, they just stop altogether?

I don't know why men who are in relationships stop trimming their nose and ear hairs.

well i don't know about stopping altogether but they would slack off here and there

I do everything I do for me and not a man... Of course in the summer I shave more b/c the legs are bare more but nails, hair, shaving, makeup, etc. are my normal routine so it doesn't change too much..

omg i shave all the time.

i guess its just a matter of respecting my outer appearance. i mean even when i was in an LTR i shaved all the time and kept myself clean and kempt and presentable. just because i feel you should always put your best foot forward. plus you never know when you might be invited to go swimming on the fly..

I don't ALWAYS do my hair and makeup but I do it most times. And it's not because of a man. It's because it makes me feel better and I like it. I'm girly that way.

Me too.. On the weekends I don't do makeup or hair unless I'm going somewhere, b/c I'm usually cleaning or by the pool...

I take care of myself for me....pretty panties and bras....for me....perfume for me....what were to happen if you were all grody and your prince charming just happened along....lost opprtunity I would say
