Is on July 20th.

So..how many people here think we never went to the Moon? That it was all an elaborate hoax.

You have never heard that?? It's been all over the place for quite a while now.

Gimme a few and I'll get some links that claim to have " evidence ".

Ok. Here we go....just a small sampling.

Either way it was cool to watch as a kid..
I want to believe it happened.

I think it happened. I also know that people died trying.

Well...a recent Lunar Recon orbiter sent back pictures of the Apollo landing sites and leftover equipment. One picture even shows the path ( footprints ) the astronauts took back and forth from the lander to the scientific instruments.

It will be interesting to see how the conspiracy theorists try to discredit these pictures.

As a boy I was interest in anything space... I allways had a telescope.

I have seen the reflections from the lander of one of the missions.

CT types can never convince me.

Now...I have always been told that the objects left there were too small to be seen with a normal telescope.

It's coming from a mix up, that the NASA did a simulated landing in a laboratory or a giant hangar or something as a rehearsal. They had pictures of the rehearsal released and people claiming this and that how it didn't happen and all was just played out here and of course some attention wh.res started to talk BS to create a mass histeria how it didn't happen. NASA has the coordinates for anyone with a good telescope to check on the Moon for the landing site, it's still visible.

Didn't they put an American flag on the moon?

Did not see the object itself (400 X with barlow - object to small).

Sun was in right position behind earth (from moons point of view)...

Got a metalic reflection... Evidence of polished metal (which does not occur naturally)... ergo... manmade object.

Ah ok. Cool deal.

NASA's biggest conspiracy is not about if we landed on the moon or not it is about their discovery of ET life forms.

Now that is a whole other subject.

I have a website you might be interested in. We discuss things like ET life forms and other such things that are considered out of the " norm ".

I have pictures from such a site.

They show the terrain of the moon near the area where Apollo 17 (I think - it was one of the later landings) was diverted to for its landing.

The terrain looks like the ruins of some kind of structure that has fallen over time.

The rover for that mission went right to those structures.

Are the pictures real?

I have now idea. But they sure are interesting.

I know of a site that does pictures.

We just wind up discussing stuff like that, in between other projects.

Still a cool place to come and check out the forums, though.
