So my friend (nelnel - butterfly winged girl) was talkin to some guy from britian and they were honestly goin back and forth with "what does this word mean over there?"

Like words for bathroom and stuff

Then I get on and talk to UK1971...and have same conversation and then Dan the nose picker laugh (you know him) says, "An american telling me how to speak English??" joking around...or something like that

So my question??

How different are our languages? Yet we are all from different places and we all talk and understand each other

And second question:

What are your favorite "American" Words?? and favorite "European" words??

heh

Weiner dogs r cool

oh no, there is that word again Dan, "Cool"

Let me rephrase heh

Weiner dogs r dogs which make me smile when I think of them because theyre small - skinny - and called weiners

SO..."cool" means "something that makes me smile when I think of them because theyre small - skinny - and called weiners"

Dan, I heard you refer to cigs once in a thread as "fags". I can't really see you coming over here and asking "can I bum a fag off ya?"

Yea the whole fag thing is passe, but projectile sharting for distance is still competitive.

I live in Germany, and Wiener is a form of meat. (Get your minds out of the gutter) whoa
Wien is the Austrian/German name for Vienna

There is also a form of steak called a Wiener Schnitzel which is a pork steak.

The English version of English is becoming more and more complicated as time goes by

Wicked used to mean evil. Now it means brilliant.

Gay used to mean happy or jolly. Now it means....... Well you all know what it means now. bigsmile
