Oh, fear and loathing you have truly peaked my curiousity. Please explain how hippies are oxymorons, I'm dying to know. Hippy=Peace, love, harmony...in and of itself is a contradiction, there will never be, has never been, and simply cannot be full peace, love, and harmony. Get off your pedestal of life and go outside, no one likes you for this or that...really meager reasons of hate; color of the skin, religious beliefs, which side of politics you are on. Hell, just above you see this "I think for sure hippies are less idealist than anarchists."...we live in a world full of hate and comical idealness. There will never be peace so long as man roams the world, want peace? Man must not exist. People don't like me cause I'm an anarchist, people don't like me because I don't believe in a God...people don't like me for some of the dumbest things I've ever seen in my life. People suck, buy a dog. You get off on people not liking you. Seems to be your "raison d'etre".

Earthy I hope you weren't referring to my question as to how are hippies oxymorons as being being angry or resentful, I was just curious about her point of view. I'm not challenging her opinion, but I like to hear things that make me think. I dont have a problem with anything youve said, I just see that no matter what nice thig ya gonna say, people are still unhappy with it. I withdraw cos its gets stupid sometimes. I go back to pleasing myself. I think your cool. |

Strive for things that are logical, things that actually have a shred of possibility of happening. The world is far to vast with far too many different minds to think we can all just up and believe in peace. It won't happen, it is illogical. Small steps at gathering people together, a small community of people dedicated to the same idealogy...take it from there, but do not expect world peace. |

And the thank you was meant for both earthy and fear. As for myself, I will have to bid all of you farewell for the time being, as my nephew and parent's asked me to watch a movie with them, and nice guy's spend time with thier families. Thanks for your input everyone.

Kind of hard to miss a point that didn't need to be made in the first place, I don't 'get off' on it...I'm just one of the few people that truly doesn't care what other people think about me, seemingly this constitutes me 'feeding off it' when in fact I'm just being myself...which is apparently something else difficult for people to grasp...
