What people don't realize is that what they fear with socialized coverage is already happening in the private sector...

Limits on What they pay and cover.....Happening right now and we are paying for it!!!!!!

I have never said I was for socialization...But if you dig out your policies and read the yearly revisions your fears are already happening and certainly only get worse!!!

SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!!

Aye but lets put this in perspective... If your car breaks and it will cost 10 years worth of income to fix it...

Do you fix it or take the bus.

Health care for all is a noble concept... but unless the ecomony is stable it is nothing more than the focus for stupidity.

OUR ECONOMY IS NOT CLOSE TO STABLE...

we can not afford to address this issue until we address the ecomony...

I wonder..

If health services cost as much as they do, is that the fault of the people needing those services or of the medical community and those related to it financially that benefit from the high costs? The insurance companies that want their piece of the pie, too and on and on..

What I see most is people that can not afford the high cost of doctors being vilified, by those that either don't care or that can afford their services or benefit finacially from the high costs.

I don't think I will ever understand this mess.

We arn't payin the doctors and medical people alone.

We are also paying for the battalions of administrative people, insurance employees, billing staffs, collections agents, building maintenance, etc,etc,etc...

That will get worse with the fed involved on such a grand scale...

The fed has a tendency to spend millions to decide how to spend thousands.

What will they do with trillions. (besides feeding as much of it as possible to their personal financial support structure)

On the other hand you are pointing out that people are part of the problem. I know one lady that has not insurance and goes to the ER for a hang nail. So ignorance is part of the problem on the side of the people though it does not justify the corruption and selfishness on the other side. But then that takes us to education, why aren't kids taught to be self sufficient and to research before running to the ER for simple things they could take care of themselves?

One side is more at fault than another but everyone has some responsibility for it all getting out of control.

Why do doctors need to make more money than god? Why has it been the practice of the medical establishment to limit the amount of doctors out there, greed maybe?

There's lots of places to look for blame, but I don't see all those parts of the problem trying to contribute to making things better, all I see is the media blaming those that couldn't change it if they wanted to, while those that can want things to remain the same.

Maybe I am wrong....

I think the people you are talking about are a small percentage...People use the ER because they have no insuranse or the $50 to see a docter...Yes you could blame a few...

I cant lay the blame on the Drs...There are many good ones paying for the actions of a very few....Malpractice costs is running them out of Florida....

In my opinion only, I can't see it getting worse than it already is.

I am aware of those that also work with in the establishment, but frankly the fed isn't responsible for all the companies that make huge sums off the health industry besides the doctors, they all individually want more and more money and power, and they will always expect it while the average joe will never be able to keep up with their financial earnings expectations.

Maybe we wouldn't need collection agents if the damn cost of a service wasn't so 'insane'.

Well we don't really know if they are a small percent or not, or do we? But if they are not the problem and the doctors finacial expectations are not the problem, and the companies that feed off the medical establishment are not the problem, then I don't know who is for sure.

Maybe we just wait until even the rich can't afford services, then something will be done. Don't know the answer, sadly..flowerforyou

It’s his choice, not yours. Surgery costs too much. Make do with the painkiller

Or if you have cancer, take hospice and give up. This health care plan is being fast tracked, like the stimulus and Sotemyer (misspelled) where is the transparency?
