Did any body read the thing about Starbucks Coffee house.
Some British royal marines. & american Marines.in Iraq wroter to starbucks because they wanted to let then know how much they all liked their coffee and to request that they send some over to the troops.
Starbucks replyed, telling the marines thank you for your sapport of
their bussiness, but that starbucks dose not support the war, noranyone in it, and they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend starbucks, mabe we should suppot them by NOT buying any of their products.Just to say Starbucks had stores on several military bases in the United states.they are now being removed becaurse of this.

there is no rule of law that says a company or an individual has to 'support' the military. and this thread should probably be in the political forum. be seeing you

I heard that as well but disregarded it as that it's more plausible that it's not true in it's entirety... I can't imagine such a worse, irresponsible statement as such... That is a huge company... Even if the owners didn't believe in the war or helping our soldiers by providing them coffee I doubt they would say this publicly... That would be incredible damaging to there marketing of starbucks coffee...

I go to a few sites to debunk false e-mails that I get from people as to set them straight so they don't send out false information to program others with things that are just not true...

I'm not saying that what they said about not sending the coffee to our soldiers is or is not true... I'm saying it sound questionable...

If it's true then I would go as far to say **** starbucks then... and I will never drink another cup there for being so blatantly stupid...

If it isn't true which I am guessing it isn't then I will continue to drink coffee there and pay way to much for it...biggrin

Take care my friend and let me know what you find out? ...Eddie

Don't drink coffee at all, though in the winter I enjoy popping into Starbucks for their apple cider drink. Yummy.

I've seen this one before. And as mentioned it's fake.

I agree. Starbucks coffee is really bad. I have never understood the success of that place. Always support the troops. smokin

Critters are good. The pigs are happy as all get out, as I took out the sweet corn and stalks that didn't get saved and fed it all to them. This weekend will be tilling up the garden parts that have been stripped and setting up for the second round of veggies and food.

LOL! Grandma had something similar to that.

I wonder how people believe some of the baloney that they pass on the computer.

Service member soliciting businesses for freebies would be highly frowned upon by chain of command and I just can't see anyone wanting that kind of rath coming down on their head.

I agree that no starbucks employee would be stupid enough to respond to that sort of written request in that fashion. With jobs as difficult to find as they are it would be career suicide.

No offense to the OP but repeating such slander doesn't sound like a really smart thing to do. Unless of course he is in fact personally involved and posses such documents.
