I love this mingle family Me too. This place has brightened up a lot of days that were otherwise anywhere from boring to downright sucky. I'm on POF too, (their forums are freakin scary) but I hardly ever go there anymore, only talk to one person regularly anyway, and I have their phone and yahoo email, so I've been thinking of deleting my profile anyway. I turn this site on during the day though, and just keep checking back and playing around in the forums when I can. I work from home, so I have really flexible hours and such, but at night is when I'm usually on for a good bit, this is the fun crowd.  ...for the Minglers.

if you accidential turned on your web cam and you stopped it on yahoo messenger they couldnt see anything or could they as long as the web cam is on.. you can be seen. maybe not through messenger, but many programs can access your web cam. Even without you realizing it. treat it like a bird in a cage... cover it at night.(when not in use.) |

if you accidential turned on your web cam and you stopped it on yahoo messenger they couldnt see anything or could they To the best of my knowledge on Yahoo you have a list in your preference under webcam it shows there a list of people who can always see your webcam you can edit that list if you want, also when your webcam is open it always shows under your video how many people are actually looking at you at the moment. So it might say 1 or 2 or 3 or sometimes 0. Only the ones in your list can view your webcam without having to ask your permission. If it is close on your side it is close for everyone. Mine as a red light on it when it is on so easy to see if it's working or not. |

Hummmm that is why I automatically turn my webcam towards the wall when not in use you never know when you might hit wrong buttons or someone else may. Besides I don't like it pointing at me hehehe
