aztec is north, mayan is south... this is the mayan chichen itza pyramid of El Castillo in yucutan, 100 miles from Cancun. many sacrifices were done here, in this area.

the pyramid of the sun in Teotihuacán, the same measurement of the pyramid of giza at the base, but exactly half as high, is what you're thinking of, i think, along the avenue of the dead, not too far from mexico city. the pyramid of the moon is at the end of the avenue.....smaller, but still impressive.

i could always be wrong.....but i gave the tools to look it up, lol
