Well, for one, it's nice to get a GENUINE smile right from the get go. Look us in the EYES, not up and down. Talk about something like what's on the jukebox or the TV at the moment. Don't bring up buying a drink right away.
For me, I feel like every time I'm approached it's for one thing. My instant reaction to that is to clam up and stick my nose in a book. But if I were approached like the above, it would be a lot more comfortable. |
