Let's face it - you guys think differently than us ladies. So, that in mind, I would appreciate some constructive advice as to my profile, and (take a BIG breath here!) my photos! Thanks for your time!

break it up a little bit. The huge run on paragraph is too much!

Information is fine but presentation? EVERYTHING!

You lose Billy I do not need a full page diatribe about her life that is for the discovery phase .What she wrote was not bad , a basic glimpse of her .

Pictures = perfect in my opinion because I, myself look for one picture of a ladies face. And you got it. If you have 20 pictures and I look at them all I would feel like I'm invading your privacy if I looked at them all and ESPECIALLY if I mentioned them in convo.

Interests = perfect in my opinion because nobody looks at those any ways :)

Body of your profile = Shorten it - make it bigger - whatever you want. If some guy wants to read it he will. But..the things I would REMOVE ARE IN BOLD :)

It doesn't take much to make me happy. I have come to appreciate what is truly important in life - God, health, family and friends. My daughter who lives in Australia and niece in Edmonton are the light of my life. I would dearly love to have grandchildren some day. From years of working in an unconventional job I have a sharp wit and more than a slightly warped view of life. I love to laugh and often poke fun at myself. I am definitely a night owl and have found it to be a benefit working shift work. I love my job but do not live to work, rather work to live! I may wear a bullet-proof vest to work but still very much enjoy being a woman. I have a tender heart and caring nature. Others tell me that I am a thoughtful person - I hope it is true. I would describe myself as very passionate and can be a bit of a tease. An emotional connection is equally important to me as a physical one. I am usually very organized and focused and love the challenge of thinking outside the box. I am somewhat of an adrenaline junkie, living life large and sometimes doing unconventional things. It is not necessary for you to participate in everything that I do as long as you can support and encourage me. I may not be for the faint of heart! People always guess me to be much younger than I am. My daughter says that I certainly don't act my age! I enjoy photography, skydiving, volleyball (I serve great but can't spike worth a darn!), scuba diving, snorkeling, shooting handguns (I'm no sharpshooter but I am working on my groupings). I value quiet times the most - watching a movie in front of a crackling fire, curled up in an afghan on my porch reading, just sitting around the campfire, playing cards, basking in a sunny spot,or enjoying a game of scrabble. I love entertaining family and friends at home or at the lake. I am known for my signature drinks! I enjoy cooking and baking, and try to spend at least one evening a month cooking a dinner with my favorite niece. Pyrogies, Caesar salad and a chocolate fudge cake are my specialities! I love to travel and hope to see many more countries. I believe that the only difference between a dream and a goal is a timeline! I have a small, furry friend named MingSu that I love, who has become an important part of my life this past year. I am proud of how much I've grown lately. I used to take pride in being "tough" but it is no longer important to me. I am capable of looking after myself but would like to find someone to cherish and have a special place in my heart. I like who I am and enjoy my own company.

and if you're curious....I can tell ya why I took those things out....and also recommend that you add something at the end....because your profile is AWESOME and then boom...it fades away like a bad book. End it like Quentin Tarantino does...because you can:)

idea of "rate my profile" is to help people....not "pick" them up, so I guess I won by default after all

***peeks down my shirt***

Ooops, I am a woman, but if I may just add my opinion.....I have to agree with Andy (Star, Billy, you know I love you boys, BUT.....) if you could break it so it wasn't just one big paragraph it would be much better in my opinion.

Good luck to you!!

Your wrong on all counts .First mine was only an opinion (not hitting on her ) Second not everyone is a novelist nor feels comfortable in writeing of themselves .Nor does anyone need to overdue for someone elses entertainment .It was legible and gave a little insight not a dictionary .Constructive criticism is fine but leave it at that .Not your job to question me or anyone else on my opinion !

Good pics, good headline and very well-written and informative description. I agree with Billy that you should trim it though. Welcome to Mingle happy

wasnt trying to point ya out startraveler

should have been more specific with my comment....sorrydrinker

just was saying that more pictures isnt gonna help her out much, at least i didnt think so....

cuz if she keeps, "People always guess me to be much younger than I am. My daughter says that I certainly don't act my age"

a guy may think, "Oooh, she has a daughter"

or..."I would dearly love to have grandchildren some day" would make me say to myself....why does she want me to know she wants grandchildren? I am going to stop reading there bc this is boring (even though there is obviously LOTS of fun interesting things in there)

and one more... "I have a small, furry friend named MingSu that I love, who has become an important part of my life this past year"

That? right there...you dont even wanna know what that made me think LoL rofl

I have edited it a bit so that it is easier to read. Thanks for the suggestions. I just about fell off my chair laughing when I read your comments about my "MingSu". I am surprised that someone didn't reply "Oh, is THAT what she calls it!" I was going to write that I didn't see that one coming at all and realized that would only be worse! I will have to send an elevator down to that pit I am digging! I work with a lot of guys so am surprised that that one got by me. One for the home team! I have lots of comments that I could make but I won't...Thanks so much again. Corinne
