heard on the news this morning that if you cuss it will make it easier to get through strange but true I think you made that up. But god bless you for it.

could be an oil cooler line. not all cars have them but if they do it's often the botton section of the radiator. i prefer auxiliarly stacked-plate coolers. more efficient. if you're going to put it in a shop instead doing the work yourself you should have them run compression and leakdown tests on the cylinders. even a short period of low oil pressure can lead to scored or warped cylinders and pistons, warped heads, damaged cam lobes, stuck lifters and plenty of other issues. it was the radiator that went... $300 damn shops are a ripoff. last time i replaced one of mine it cost me $65 for the part, then it took me about 10 minutes to do the work and 20 minutes to fully burp the system. at least you're back in action though.

I know how to change it myself but I don't have the tools, I always used my father tools. sucks!!! The part was only $150 but $75 per hour for labor. Hate when other people work on my car, makes me nerves.

no kidding. every time i have to get my state inspecions done i hate it. some stranger driving my babies around and the law says i have to let them! it's about as offensive as the law granting lords the right of prima nocta.
