What I put in there is telling dad what I have done and that I miss him and you know stuff like that. What has been happening in my life. I didn't think that was REALLY writing. I was thinking it was just MY thoughts and feeling jotted down on paper.
 Oh, I write in my journal to my dad all the time. But, I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler!! I would give anything if I could write a poem. But, I can't. About the only thing I can do is Flower arrangements! Not much call for thoes though and don't express near like writing does!  I'm telling you, you would be a fabulous writer....no joke....!!!! I write too................and draw......... I have a whole book of stuff......i tend to write when i go thru things in life.....it inspires me, & things just flow out easily then!!!!!! Now Linda.............YOU ARE A WRITER!!!!!!!!!!!!! im sure EVERYTHING you put in that journal, is very heartfelt.............thats what writting is all about!!!!!  |

Thanks DAW...I am just going too buy a program that will work to burn the cd's with. I know nero and it will work I just have to get the right one to go with xp. I thought poems must rhyme? NO? No way!!! And Beckie is right about the journal stuff...it can be your memoir in the making!! |

I thought I was more of STORY writing you were doing. That is what I was talking about I could not do along with the poems.

No no...narrative is a style of poetry... so let's say I am confused...like I am...lol
 Then I write about it... example... Unsure Clinging to the hope that I will hear from you. Everything we have so unsure now. Longing for just a moment for you to tell me what has been and what has become of everything we are. Tears fall down my face if I get caught in the moment too much. Trying to tell myself all will make sense soon enough. I'm spending time talking to God and wondering if He can hear me through all of this. Alone in this solitude feeling, lacking patience, my greatest sin. Trapped in this unknowing feeling. Will I ever return from this again? And there you have it...a narrative poem..I put this one in stanzas but you don't have to... |

That is Beautiful!!! But see I can't think of words to say like that. Maybe I might try someday and send it to you on email but not in here for sure. You are just GOOD!!!
