no,,,I mean the fifty year olds aren't,,...
The thirty to forty somethings chased me when I was 19-35,
NOW, the 60, 70 and 80's chase me around,,,,HELP ME PLAESE!!lol

And just what is wrong with the 60's???laugh

NOTHING at all,,age is not the issue really,,its the look of the age on a person,,I have a friend back home where I grew up,,she laid out all the time in the sun, and at 35 she looked 55, and THATS not her fault really,,but it just is a hard thing for me to FEEL,,,in a sense.
Some women , like your self,,still look 20 years younger,,,BUT,,,,,MOST who have that ability,,,ONLY DATE GUYS TWENTY YEARS YOUNGER....lol so I am STILL out of luck...wink,lol

Lol...I NEVER date a man 20 yrs younger than myself...I have a rule...they have to be older than my oldest son, and he's 43..lol...I will date a man in his late 40's but PREFER one in their 50's...
But I do know what you mean about the aged look...I have to work at keeping my skin nice, because, unfortunately, I've worked out doors all my life and that is hard on a woman. But a few wrinkles just refuse to go away...but ya know? I earned everyone of them, and at my age...well, ...age just happens. But there is more to a woman than her appearence...life happens to us all, it's how we deal with it that matters. wink, lol

I don't feel my age, but I guess I don't usually think about it. Until my dentist said "your teeth are in pretty good shape for your age, keep up the good work" and then my eye doctor said, "Well at your age usually the eyes progress more, your prescription hasn't really changed much from last year and for your age it's actually not that strong". Each time I didn't know how to respond, I just laughed. If there's a consolation it's when I see my younger sisters: I stayed out of the sun, didn't smoke, and rarely drank alcohol....they did. I look like their younger sister. Something about sun and oxygen deprivation to the skin I think.

I know what you mean...I don't know how old you are, but you know every time I have to see a dr, which is about once every two yrs, they always ask for a list of my meds...I tell them I don't take meds...they say"How old are you again?..of course you should be on something!!" What the hel!..is there a rule somewhere that when you reach a certain age...you HAVE to take meds??lol

They haven't asked me about meds in that way yet, but they do talk about menopause and the benefits of supplements. But I do take my regular vitamin every night. Oh yea and since my mother developed diabetes in her early 70's I try to not have the heapings of sugar I used to. I have even learned to like splenda. But it's hard to resist chocolate. Isn't there some benefit from eating chocolate for women over 50?

I look at her face, wondering how the passages of time have become so firmly etched upon a complexion that was so fair....Eyes that still twinkle when the light is just right, a certain pose makes the passage of time seem to melt away...And as I gaze ever more deeply into my reflection I utter to myself under my breath..."Holy crap, when did I turn into my Mother".?......tongue2 tongue2

I've held it all inwside andGod knows I've tried,
But it's an awful awakening in a country boy's life,
To look in the mirror in total surprise.
At the hair on my shoulders and the age in my eyes.

you're only young once
but you can be childish and immature your whole life
