You will like it much better once you get used to it... I had long hair for more years of my life then not and it was like a new start once I got rid of it... Plus, then it wasn't getting ripped out in chunks in martial arts...

ROFL Couple of good reasons I assure you...(Neither of which were lice) I am very vein, love having long hair, but I had to shave it off and keep it clean for a while.
