youre still more than likely going to meet someone out in the world than you are on here, IMO. this is just networking yourself.

Depends on how much one networks.. I'm not a networker unless it's for business, I don't dip my pen in the inkwell so that's not going to work for me.. However, I don't plan on meeting anyone from here either, this is more my friend networking... I think if you try, really try it can be done but you also have to be realistic whether it's online or in the real world.. Just b/c you are interested it doesn't mean they are and vice versa...

Don't feel bad. I haven't been able to find anybody near me who a.) doesn't bore me into a narcoleptic coma within 90 days, and b.) doesn't think the most important thing in the world is to turn me into a goat.

The good ones are always so far away -- like on Gliese 581C....

who are these women with a goat fetish??laugh

Everybody I've ever been with! (With one exception.)

The domestication agenda -- hence the reference to the "domesticated animal" -- in this case a goat, although any number of other animals would serve the illustrative purpose --

I no longer care to be in the company of the domesticatrix....!

Lex, if it's a goat I think you can feel safe.. Now if they try to make you into a cat, dog, hamster, fish or bird, then I'd get worried.... At least a goat gets to stay outside and pretty much do it's own thing until they want some milk  laugh

Yeah, the hamster thing is even less appealing -- !!

I can see myself running for hours in one of those little wheels, not going anywhere....!

It would be like reading profiles, only exerting a LOT more wasted energy!

I think the question should be, how hard is it for a woman to find a man who doesn't whine about how he's such a nice guy (and he thinks he's handsome, to boot) and how no one likes him for his winning personality? now that's a thread i'd readlaugh

I could probably do one of those, although I'm not sure anyone would believe the "nice guy" angle....

well, to me "nice guy" translates to "pathetic, whiny, pie-faced, wet-mouthed, possibly has a lisp, socially deviant dude who feels women owe him something." so yeah, i'm not sure you could pass as the nice guy. but you could still do the thread:wink:

yeah i have no patience for the nice guy, because most of the time, he's so bitter, he's not very nice anymore, if he ever was.
