I seek to find what's meant for me
The answer keeps evading me
Looking for what's meant to be
Somewhere,someone has the key

Lost in my mind's own darkness
Seeking a way of egress
My thoughts I must need assess
That my life I may repossess

No way or light can I find
That I may leave this all behind
I wander around as though blind
Should I to this become resigned

This darkness eats at my soul
Of my life I've lost control
From this is there no parole
Am I never again to be whole

I feel a part of me is lost
Not yet knowing at what cost
My life's wires become crossed
To the scrap heap I've been tossed

I need to find a way to go
To find a place with light aglow
Where and how I do not know
I need escape this evil flow

So as I seek to find the light
Retrieve my mind from this blight
On hope I must hang hang tight
That I escape this, my mind's night
