i stayed at home last night, so i was safe.

Got rained out friday night. It was supposed to rain all weekend. It cleared up enough last night to run the fireworks shows. At first I thought we were getting a thunder storm. My apartment faces the wrong way. I played computer games, watched movies, and read a book. Only thing missing was a bottle of wine.

just stayed home last night and had a date with myself.

went to my moms as we had a bbq
and went to the park up the street which was safe and you should had seen the down town crowd at 11pm OMG!! you never see a crowd like that but on the 4th there is a water front park where it used to be free but they charged $3 which is not bad cheaper than the fairgrounds.. i sware most of salem had to had been at the waterfront... when my sister and i went by there before noon the crowd was pouring in there |

Watched the local ones from the roof of the parking deck at work, ran into some people I knew.

Stayed home and did a few fireworks with the kiddo. Crazy folks in my neighborhood kept it going until 2am
|

i spent the day volunteering for a 4th of july festival..but did lounge around in the pool for a few hours in the late afternoon. my sister bought 40 big a** blocks of ice and we put them all on the pool..had a cool pool after that... but in the evening took my daughter to see some friends and got to see 2 different fireworks shows..had a blast..
 i hope everyone got to enjoy the day too
