Actually, the whole skateboarding thing is separate from the OC Fair thingy. Not only that, the skate thing is set for Sunday evening (after the competition's all over) around eight o'clock or so. There'll be lots of boom-boom goin' on once the sun starts to go down.

OH send me the info.. I think Sunday is a quiet day... He's at his friends right now, he should be home tomorrow.. We're going to Six Flags next week overnight and doing Hurricane Harbor the next day for his birthday... My baby will be 14 on Thursday...

Actually with him it's not so bad.. He's a great kid... My oldest put me through so much and still does that Satan would seem like a great kid.. just kidding... but Jesse is a very good boy...

But yeah- I'll see about what the deal is with visitors to that skateboard pyro thing. I don't think it should one of those "total lock-down" kinds of events at all. But I'll see.

Yeah. Getting to take part in some pyro-related crap woulda been fun.

It's just too bad I got word that all the pyro got pulled from the show. Apparently the director got his ideas from some other skate video that had a similar thing going on and has NOW decided that his artistic integrity would be damaged if he went ahead with things.

It just woulda been nice if Mr. Director d-bag had come to his conclusions WELL before making me take the trip to Costa Mesa yesterday for the meeting and crap. Taking the incredibly bad traffic I had to go through to both GET there and get BACK, my whole day was essentially wasted, which is NOT fun at all. Grrr...

So NO pyro on Sunday!

Even worse is I've been on the phone all day with vendors and other people to cancel orders for stuff because of the rather sudden nature of their change of plans. They didn't appreciate any of those shenanigans, as they had to deal with the rather sudden nature of my telling them to get stuff ready for me in the first place! They weren't all that pleased with what happened in the least.
