glasses The Atlanteans were a previous race of humans that evolved on this planet until a global catastrophy struck and the survivors fled to other worlds.glasses

Not all of them else we would not have the legends.

Wonder what legends will be whispered about us around campfires say 1000 years from now?

we are all gods creations and out of all gods creations we are his most precious. god desighned us to be the superior to all else

Biblically speaking, why are humans dominant? Why would one of God's creations be more precious than another? How do you think God meant for us to dominate over the other species? Please explain, I don't understand.

Being able to communicate through spoken language is possibly the most important reason.

And what has communication helped us to do? Have we learned to live within nature without condemning the future of any other creature?

Have we made the world a more peacefull place in which all of nature can coexist? Has any preceeding generation left the world in better shape than the one before it?

Exactly how has language helped us become so dominant?

The only place in which humans are dominant is in the mind of the self. There is a term for this idea, in philosophy it is called psychological "egoism".

Holding such beliefs causes great harm to that which sustains us. We are no more in control than any other creature and no more equal in our right to be here, yet we destroy without thought or purpose the very things we require for our survival.

What has communication helped us to do? Are you kidding? Im not telling you, just look around you and see.

No we havent made the world a more peaceful place in which nature can blah blah blah, but that isnt the topic.

Language helps us comminicate, and share ideas, and teach eachother, and probably loads of other stuff. You have the internet, look it up.

So if you think language makes humans the most dominant species, explain in what way we have used language to 'dominate'?

First you explain to me what other species is more dominant than humans?

I could find no reference to us being told to 'dominate'.

Having dominion over does not mean to dominate (imvho) it should actually require us to exercise due caution and some wisdom.

Which I see happening in oh say ... ? Could we ever really (as a species) grow enough to actually exercise true dominion.

Why, in your opinion, do you believe humans became the dominant species on earth? Why are we so different compared to other species in how we invent, colonize, and use rational thought far beyond instincts.

Or do you disagree? Do you think there is a species more dominant than humans or are we closer to other species than we want to believe?

Please share your thoughts!

I think it is because humans lack tails
Christopher Walkins would agree.

Perhaps if you define what dominant means, I would be better able to respond. You may be thinking dominant means one thing while I, another. So define dominant for purpose of this discussion.
