suppoedly the reason you can read it is that when you read the brain only sees the first and last letters of the words and just scans the middle letters sort of like peripheral vision. So the order of the middle letters isn't important as long as they are all there

I never was able to read that, it kept killing my eye's. I remember seeing it a number of years ago, someone had put it up on another forum I was a member at as a point that spelling wasn't that important...and that would have been true, if the forum wasn't directed towards writing...
