Smart men are wonderful. The only time it's an issue is when they have the "I'm smarter than you, so I'm better than you" kind of attitude. Though that can be the same for women as well.

They have the ability, just most want to rely on looks

I think smart men are sexy also, but as long as they don't try to make me look stupid. I hate being around men like that(mean spirits they are).

It is funny to me how many people take me for stupid!

I really try not to come off as a know it all but it also is hard to just sit there telling someone "you are making a big mistake" and expecting them to listen. People hear and see what they want to.

Many times smart guys are taken for condescending and in a lot of cases they are right! Example...


I service Koi ponds. I have had to save some really dirty mud pits from themselves and owner neglect. I recently got called to look at a pond and give my opinion. I smelled the pond long before I seen it. It had over a foot of decaying plant mater on the bottom and his fish were getting very sick. He used antibiotic followed by enzymes and bacteria additives to "restimulate" the biology which exploded on him. I told him his pond needed to be drained and cleaned and he needed to lay off of the happy additives and replace a bulk of his outdated and nonfunctional filtration system. Did he want to listen? NO He was a Biology Professor and I am just the guy who cleans and services ponds. The funny thing is I design and build ponds including filtration and know what works and does not work and yet a professor knows more than the guy doing the work in the filed for multiple people and have had to face diseases that seemed untreatable. I guess having a degree makes you know everything.

One of my very favorite people is one of the smartest guys I know. He has never, ever been condescending to me. He never acts like he's smarter than anyone. He's the only person I talk to regularly though that I end up having to look up a word or two that he uses. Though, he never sounds like he's trying to be smart by using his wonderful vocabulary. A very smart guy can be very sexy if he doesn't act like he's smarter or better than everyone else.
