supermarket, library, malls

I always laugh when someone says the supermarket. Do people actually meet that way?

Clubs and bars are usually a bad place to find someone to date unless you're just looking for fun for that night. What are your interests? Try volunteering or taking a class? You'll meet people with the same interests.

I see. My interests are camping, fishing, um, going over to friends houses, the computer, though that is more of a solo activity. I like baseball and hiking, though I have not been since middle school.

Take a class where?

There are single women everywhere.

How you actually meet them though, i have no idea.

Saying hello might help.

Comm Coll, Adult Ed. Comm. Ed. the local library will have info. just ask at the desk. They will have flyers and brochures.

Maybe it is just me, but going up to some random person and saying hi, sounds strange. O_o

Its not just you.

But standing there looking cool doesnt seem to work either. One way or another you have to do SOMETHING. SO might as well keep it simple and say hello.

Im not single, but i probably wouldnt take my own advice if i was. Just because i feel as stupid doing it as you do. If i became single again, i probably would stay that way for a fair while.

Have your friends introduce you to people you haven't met yet. Take a class anywhere that might have a class you'd enjoy.

You can even find stuff on the websites for community colleges.

Now that you have had your chain yanked; here is the real story. Go to the nearest hospital and tell them you want to volunteer. There will be some choices so you won't have to empty bed pans. Whatever you do you will feel good about. Within a month, you will be friends who are volunteers and who work at the hospital. Play close attention to the nurses; even the ones who are taken will fix you up with the ones who are available.

Now thats good advice. When I broke my leg in sept 2007, I was in a physical therapy rehab center. I had a great time with my therapists, the nurses, and the nurses aides. Unfortunately most of them were married. The ladies that were single were about 30 years younger than me. I have a son that is older than they are. I have ran into a couple of the people that took care of me out and about. We had some drinks and some good laughs. Medical profession people rock.

Hospitals make me squeemish. I even hate getting my blood taken. If I am not getting paid to work, I probably would not bother.

I might check out the softball or whatever. I need to get my fat *** into shape anyway.

If they have one of these in your area this is the way to get into shape!

My mom did that. Due to the heavy running on concrete, she cracked both shin bones. I also do not have the money, due to 1 college loan and 2 credit card payments.

Holy crap! Cracked both shin bones? Yikes! No offense but was she really heavy? I get shin splints sometimes but that sounds awful.
