So..I woke up today and my lady friend goes..
Billy guess who died! Billy Mays! And I promptly go, "I don't give a ****...why don't you tell me when somebody is born once in a while???" Now she got mad....which makes sense...and I understand that..... but tell ya why I don't care. Did I care who Billy Mays was when he was alive? No, not really. So why would I care when he died? Same goes for Michael Jackson. When he was alive we made fun of him. He was in Men in Black II as an alien and was mocked in Scary Movie 3 --- he was a joke. Why once people die do we care? I don't. I would love to sit around and be like... Hey! did you know that so and so had a baby! Yet.....that never happens...why not?? Lets discuss LIFE not DEATH |

People, or people I know, do talk about births.
Some folks are interested in these deaths as they are visible people in our society. You don't have to care, but maybe some compassion for those tjey left behind would be nice. Just my thought

all the buzz about michael jackson and the other one and billy mays now is for their family? and their loved ones? i got no problem with that....i feel bad for their family...i feel bad that the family has to be on the news when they are "dealing" with losing their loved one.... how would you feel if you lost your father and he was all over E! and 20/20 while you were "coping"? |

OMG!!!! I couldn't stand the guy!!! But I kinda grew on me after he did that show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel. Cuz you kind of got to know him and not just hear him yell about OxiClean. Now I'm gonna miss him.
