Do guys like it when a girl wears dresses and puts on makeup? I mean, it's not something "Difficult" for me - I LOVE looking good for my man (when I HAD them!), and I don't see it as a chore ever! I mean, some girls look GREAT au natural, but my barn needs a bit o' painting, and I want to make sure I look as trophy-ish to him as I can be...or are you most satisfied with sweats/sweatshirt/etc? I don't ever want to give up my dresses and heels!

Yeah. A slight amount of make-up is fine, but you can't get all Picasso and stuff. No body likes havin' people leer at them because their girlfriend looks like Bozo the Clown with the caked-on makeup. Nothing's more embarrassing than finding that she's got a major raccoon-eye thing goin' on.

The WORST was when the whole "mocha-colored" lipstick ended up being popular years ago. I'll never understand why anyone would wanna color their lips butthole brown when they could go for a more reasonable color.
And just WHAT is the deal with the pink lipstick and the butthole brown pinstripe around the edge of the lips that some ladies out there find so attractive, anyway! If I wanted to date a cartoon character, I'd go find a cartoon character! |

I never get it either moof

It just goes to show that practically anything can be considered the "in" thing to do nowadays. Heck- I wouldn't be surprised if bloomers and petticoats ended up being popular or deemed "sexy" in the near future!

JMO....outer beauty can fade. I would much rather have someone be proud of me for my mind, heart, social skills, conversation, etc. I prefer to be comfortable over fashionable. whether it's jeans and tank top....boots, tennis shoes, sandals...whatever. I dress up when I feel like it or if I go somewhere fancy. but I prefer to be more casual without a lot of make up

At this stage of my life, I love being a woman. I dress up, I dress down I primp. I am sponatous. Depends on the mood and the day.
As for the sweats you will never find me in them. Jeans, mini skirts, dresses shorts and heels. |

i think what is important is that the man date the girl who he finds attractive and then not subsequently try to change the way that she looks.
i like to dress up and look good for my guy, but not if it's expected and/or demanded, and also because i know that he thinks i look just as good first thing in the morning, and last thing at night, as i do all dressed to the nines. i must admit, however, that when i do dress up and look good, it's a shoe-in that i'll feel great and sexy. and that would only benefit both me and my partner, and our relationship. it often reminds me of that old bugs bunny cartoon where the hat truck has a mishap and the hats are spilled. as they land on him and yosemite sam (or was it elmer fudd) they adapt to the particular personality that the hat represents. same thing in real life; sweats and an old ratty t-shirt are comfortable around the house, and i love wearing them, but they sure don't bring on the woman in me! |

Not saying that there is anything wrong with "less is more"...But, Idefinitely dig when a woman WANTS to look better. I really respect the "I LOVE looking good for my man" thing. I doll myself up for my woman and I expect the same in return. We are sooooo sympatico...the "sweats" thing is a major turn off for me! Just the fact that you wear dresses and heels makes me wanna say "I think I love you!" |

Oh yeah..Moo...the brown pinstripe delineates the lips and makes them look fuller...(I do alot of art)...they do it for a reason. |

i think what is important is that the man date the girl who he finds attractive and then not subsequently try to change the way that she looks. Just out of curiosity, how many times has anyone actually ever heard of a man trying to change a woman into what he wants her to be, much less succeeded in doing so? Now ask that same question in reverse. |

Another thing, I think clothing manufacturers should really learn how to divvy up their material supply better to each other, as women's jeans now stop way below the waist, and men's jeans sag off their @ss to their knees. One has too much material, the other doesn't have enough. Apparently, nobody can make a pair of jeans that fits anymore. |

when they dont wear to much make up i agree the barns look much better with a coat of stain, paint does take away from the natural beauty of the wood. But I have to admit when my gal cleans up for me I do feel special. |
