Topic: I lost 5lbs!

I lost 5 pounds within a couple of weeks! I'm not really sure how I did it, but I did, now I'm 205lbs. My goal weight is 145lbs. I still have a long ways to go, but atleast I got some encouragment.

I was 120lbs about a year ago, but after I stop doing drugs and doing alot less drinking, I gained a alot of weight (210lbs.). I was shocked when I saw that, so I started trying to lose weight.

Excellent Job.

My personal opinion is you don't want to be 140, thats way too little.

Look at me, I am almost 175 Lbs and only one inch taller than you, and I don't look fat or anything.

I would advice to go down to 155 (no less) and build some muscle in the process.

What is your goal, just to be skinny or to be fit with some muscle?

I think it's the 12 hour work shifts.grumble

I started buying breakfast bars, eat one in the morning, I have a very little snack in the morning (1st break at work), eat something for lunch, another very little snack in the afternoon (2nd break at work), and dinner at home.

I also started drinking alot more water, cutting back juices and soft drinks, and simply drinking more water. Cutting down on the sweets. I also cut down on the fast food, junk food, etc. and stopped eating after 7:00pm also.

Ok you are 5'8" tall .. so 145 is too skinny for you. You should not go any less that 160-175 or you will be skin and bones!

Actually I think I have gained some muscle. 155 might be a better goal.
