So that means you want to give me a deer for my ring??????

During the early settlers time, that would have been a very romantical offering...surprised

Which is even more proof that I am glad I don't live then.

are there any other pawnbrokers out there?
just checking and looking for others who have the fun that i do.

i always feel bad when i walk into one and know that usually the goods for sale have some sad memories associated with them.

i was in one this summer and a young man was holding a young toddler and crying and i imagined him having to give up something that he once held in value.

each state has different laws
in tx the rate is governed by the amount you barrow.
in tennessee its alwayes the same and we have to hold it for 90 dayes, in mississippi they only have to hold it for 30.
we are controlled by the same folks that control banks as well as the police.
i think in the past year we have only turned over about 3o items to the police that were reported stolen.
not bad considering we have over 150 thousand oon the streets in loans.
and whoever said it is right, when it comes to high dollar jewelry you would be better taking it to a jewelry stores that buyes instead of a pawnshop.
the clue to pawning something is to only barrow what you need so you can get it back. not hard to figure out.
