Anything Pink especially Save my life. Disturbed is awesome, System of a Down. And random classical songs. But Pink the music is typically so uplifting, no matter what the lyrics are, that I completely forget about why I am unhappy for those 3 to 4 minutes

There is an album which I think is one of the greatest albums made in the last 20 years.
I have owned it three times. Each time I own it I throw it away because it invades my life, my conciousness my everything. The problem is I have in the past, and continue to struggle with depression (thankfully the struggle is not so bad now) The problem is the album drags me back to a dark place with its haunting melodies and near perfect vibe. Too bad the vibe (for me is so dark) Oh yeah, the album is The Future - Leonard Cohen |

When I feel down I listen to a good rock song to get my spirit pumping again, "Best Of You" by Foo Fighters or "Helter Skelter" by The Beatles just to name two of them. But if I want to relax "Before The Rain" by Lee Oskar.
