Topic: The Green Dragon's Tavern - part 2 | |
---|---|
<returns into the inn in time to hear the bard's question> Oh, it's just the griffin...feeling better now, and already standing watch for us. He hopes to stay there a few days to regain his strength...depends on what the owner of the tavern says about having him up there! <laughs> And so you are gathering for your quest? I think I shall stay here and continue to talk with the griffin... <flies back out the window, snagging a sip of the elven wine on her way> [real life: work is crazy busy and this is about the best I can do for being in here--off to do mundane things for a while, maybe catch up with you all later if things slack off--probably not until about 6 pm et...] |

"The hobbits of hilly danger seek protection of a nasty gang of rogues better known as the “The Riding Doomers”. The leader is looking for a foul hobbit merchant who ripped him off one day in the Green Dragon’s Inn in the town of Sinatorium. Since he cannot find the scoundrel he declares war on the hobbits and vows to destroy the whole shire. It is up to you to defeat this warrior by all costs." I have been thinking about this. Perhaps it would behoove us to seek out this foul hobbit merchant first and see what we can find out. |

We are going to wait around a few more minutes and see who shows up that can be of assistance |

We are going to wait around a few more minutes and see who shows up that can be of assistance <Auryss returns once more from the roof, holding a large feather> Bard, I spoke of your quest to the griffin and he gave me this for you...I don't know what it does, if anything. But it can't hurt to have a griffin feather. It would look great in your cap! He also suggests I tag along with you...I will try to keep up, so may at least start the journey with you? [real life: will try to stay...depends on how work goes, so slow answers might be the price I pay for this little trek] |

A nasty storm has come to the town of Sinatorium with many tornadoes nearby. Lord Elkinsinan adviced all merchants and travelers to not travel anywhere until the storm is done. It is reported a section of the town has had heavy damages leaving some of the inhabitants homeless and vulnerable to the storm.
Samwise with Boromir have locked the doors and boarded the windows hoping that the tavern will be spared of this nasty storm. The howling winds, lightning, and thunder keeps everyone on edge hoping this sudden storm will end soon. "Hold tight everyone. This is a sturdy building!" Boromir says. "Yes it should hold out this storm," Samwise replies a bit uncertain. Storyteller Note: I apologize for not making it on time for the 12 oclock campaign. I hope we can pick up tommorow and do a campaign together. I should be fully rested and ready to go. Thanks for understanding |

[Sorry folks, we had a time zone mix up]
[We were going to meet for the adventure at 12 Pacific Standard Time] [Make sure you compare your local time zone to the Pacific Time Zone] |

<slips out under the door to lead the griffin into the back of the stables, away from any horses, so that it can be safe during the storm, then returns to the inn>
Whew, it's windy! <begins to play a song on her pixie flute which somehow matches the storm's pace but not its violence....it gives some cheer to the now darkened room> [real life: sliding out since we're not going anywhere today. I'll try and catch up with the questing tomorrow...good evening, gentle beings!] |

*bangs on the door hoping someone will answer it. She is stuck with out anywhere to go to hide out the storm*
|
|
|
|
*starts to bang on the door again*
HEY!! |
|
|
|
Draven comes down from his room hearing the banging, with his axe in hand in case of trouble. He opens the door and sees the vampire standing there dripping wet with the rain from the storm.

Thanks Draven. I had to hide in a tree from the storm!
*she tells him looking up, she is dripping wet, make-up running. She looks really bad.* |
