daughter-in-law's brother, Erich and his men, that we're praying for.

My daughter-in-law, Emily, (wife to my son at the seminary in Ft.
Wayne) called this morning & said that her brother - ERICH ROBERTS is
in the unit in Iraq that had the kidnappings & executions. His unit is
the one that continues to search for the kidnapped soldiers.

Erich, himself, seems to be all right. He is the leader of one of the
groups in the unit (2nd Div, 10th Mtn.)

We are asking for prayers for safe return of those kidnapped and his
safety & the safety of his men who are trying to find them.

Erich is a member at Our Redeemer LC in Irving.

Side note: Erich & the guys in his unit are requesting absorbent socks,
should anyone want to send things to them. They also appreciate snacks,
paperbacks and LETTERS!!!!!!! He said you can't imagine how many guys
don't get any mail. So just general letters to a soldier & then he
makes sure the guys that need them, get them.

That way, as they are moving about, the Chaplain makes sure they get it.

We've been using the one rate boxes at post office for $8.95 that works
really well.

I know it's not just this group but hafta say I've seen REAL miracles
when they're put on the job for prayers. That's why I put in any request
from my friends here and pass them along whenever I can. There is
definately power in it!

I'll pray for you. The reality of the world we live in will never cease
to amaze me
