I LOVE my job, and the things that it allows me.
I am very fortunate, every day.

Some people complain about their jobs, wait until they are unemployed & try to find a job in this economy....whole different ball game then!

You should go over there and remove her head from her butt. laugh

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a person trying to better themselves, but keep what you have until that opportunity arises, no matter how bad you've got it! Many people are much worse off.

MAKE THAT MONEY!

the bigger question is.. even if you hate your job sooooo much and the people you work with are back stabbers and talk sh!t all the time behind your back and it stresses you out and you really can't find another job right now... Do you still go to work and try and deal with it so you have some kind of paycheck?
yes......you just described my job perfectly. I need to eat, pay bills.

right and you have to do all that on your own cause there's no one else out there to help you right
So you go to that terrible job day after day after day just so you have money to pay rent, electricity, phone, cable, food...
and what happens if you don't go to work?

What's the point of this thread? What are you trying to get at?

Honestly... I have a friend who she didn't go to work all last week and not for the last 2 days. She said she can't stand the people she works with, the way people talk behind each others backs and don't give a crap about her. She feels stressed out and just can't go to work and feels that not working there anymore would make life better. But I say, how are you going to pay bills, how are you gonna pay for medicine and buy food. And she says I don't know I just need to figure it out.
I wanted her to see this thread and to see others opinions on the whole thing. As many opinions would be great. Thanks Everyone.

She sounds like she needs to talk to someone. I can feel her stress in what you've typed. Tell her to start looking around for something else now and perhaps with that goal in mind, it will help her to face work each day knowing she is doing something positive to change her situation. Good luck to her.flowerforyou

Sometimes it helps to complain about your job sometimes. I don't see why people should stop doing that because others don't have jobs. It can be a form of stress release.

Oh I've tried but she just won't listen. She's stubborn. But when the money isn't rollin in anymore I bet she'll go to work... or at least I hope.

Thank you all for your input on all of this. I really do appreciate and please keep em coming. Whatever opinion you have positive or negative. Thank you Thank you Thank you

I swap hours for dollars.

I swap labour for food.

I swap food for labour.

I swap labour for labour.

A job is just that a job, I am not my job.

And as to how much of the money stuff...not much...I don't need it....barter works fine.
