Well........Beckie's workin' tonight, so instead of talkin' to her on the phone (though she did call me for a minute on her break), I'm just listening to CDs and posting on Mingle.........I'm too tired to do anything else..........my job has become slave labor...........and I have to work tomorrow (six-day week............  ).....

So, Holly, you guys on Long Island had the same storm we had here in CT, huh? We were having 1-inch hail. I picked up a piece and showed it to my neighbor. When the storm first started around 5pm, it was literally raining ice chunks. Was it that bad there?

So, Holly, you guys on Long Island had the same storm we had here in CT, huh? We were having 1-inch hail. I picked up a piece and showed it to my neighbor. When the storm first started around 5pm, it was literally raining ice chunks. Was it that bad there? we had bad thunderstorms and lost electricity but our hail wasn't that big...thank goodness |

I had just gotten home - inside, and I heard these ice chunks hitting my trailer......I thought for sure there was gonna be dented cars and dented trailers........I was prayin' it wouldn't happen...... |

It's quite cool here, now, too.........my air conditioner is still out in the toolshed......I wouldn't care if it stayed this cool all summer. Out where Beckie lives, it's been SO hot they've had at least 2 tornadoes out there in the last week....... |
