Just start replying with outrageous things. Things which will make their mouth drop open. They won't likely be asking again anytime soon!

I don't think anyone truly wants to be alone the rest of their life, but sometimes circumstances just do not fall the way they should or the way you may want them to. I may be alone until time runs out, but as long as I have a computer, it is much easier to bear when I can stay in touch with my Mingle friends.

Whenever someone asks me what is clearly an inapproriate question I try to kill them with kindness and say "Oh Honey why would you be interested in knowing that?"

Usually by being put on the spot they get what they really wanted anyway which is attention for them.

If they are doing it just to be catty then being selectively deaf makes them look nosey because they usually repeat themselves and you can continue to ignore them again.

Just because someone asks a question you don't have to answer it.
