Proof I'll never grow old enough to stop being his little girl:

I went grocery shopping with my dad yesterday since mom is too sick to be going out much. He knows I've been having a lot of bad luck lately and while we were out we talked a lot, which isn't really Dad's forte. He's more of the strong silent worker type. When we got home, I'm unpacking groceries and find a box of my favourite cookies from being a kid. I looked at him and he smiled, saying nothing and I just giggled. It's good to know when he doesn't know what to say there's always cookies
So HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ALL!!!

That is so sweet. I know that at times when my sons were growing up, I sometimes didn`t know what to say. But when they both told their Mom and I that everything that they learned about being a parent they learned off of us. Believe me the river of tears came forward. Thank you for the Fathers Day greeting also.

I thought it was a nice tribute to Dad. He's always come through when he's been truly needed.

  Thanks everyone
