I'm going to hell anyway might as well gain something before i do. Just joking though......but on a serious note..... I don't think i would sell my soul for the world. What does it mean for a person to even gain the world....anyway? I would rather keep my soul than to gain the world. My soul means the world to me. Even, if i may not have a soul, but I do have principles and they are not for sale, nor can they be compromised.

He has gained nothing because you can't take it with you... I agree you can't take it with you, but it is nice to have while you are on earth. And what ever is left over is a nice little nest egg for your family.

my grandfather was a Methodist preacher. and when I was a kid he kept telling me to save my soul. and then one day in church, during his sermon he announced "The Lord is coming to take your soul". I think he was embarassed when I yelled out "OH NO!! I'M SAVING IT!!!"

Material things are nice and all, but if I had to spend money on "things" I usually spend it on something that can be used for fun, such as the volleyball net we purchased yesterday. Those kind of things I don't mind getting as presents, because they convey future fun times. If someone wants to buy me off with trinkets, they probably won't get far.....although nice gestures once in awhile are great, in addition to personal actions.

What's with all this "loosing" things? If they're loose, tighten 'em up! I'll check back on this later. I have to go find my car keys, because I "loost" them.
