Robin, it must be a Southern thing. They are good aren't they!?! They're yummy!! Now I want one!! I'm not feeling suicidal today, so I'll pass on that sandwich. Being highly allergic to fresh tomatoes and all. Though processed ones are fine, cause I adore ketchup. My family has been picking on me for years.....they didn't believe the doctor when he told me I was allergic to fresh tomatoes......I break out in a rash if I touch them and if I eat one I turn as red as one with red spots all over me. Now I can eat ketchup and anything Italian as long as the tomatoes are cooked |

just take a bunch of grapes and throw em in the freezer they are cold crunchy and sweet |

favorite thing to have on a hot day? I just had a COLD tomato sandwich, wheat bread, s&p. Nothing like a cold tomato sandwich on these high 90 degree days in the South. What is your favorite hot weather treat?

I like to go down to the beach and sit out on the fun island or sit in a lounger with my feet in the water... I don't have central air, I do have a little window unit, but generally I only run that about 2-3 nights per year...even when it is really hot here. The nights generally cool down due to the lake, so that really helps. there have been a couple of nights that it was hot, and I did not have the air on...so I just walk down to the lake, take a quick swim...and that will cool me right down!! This week has been very warm here...today, though, was a perfect day! about 76, blue sky, slight breeze...just perfect!  I wanna, I wanna!!!
Dare I ask what the "fun island" is?
