What are your thoughts on this? seems pretty scary, i think its officially a pandemic and spreading fast. Ugh im totally not coming into contact with anyone from, near or has been to mexico.

I'm a little confused over why they are making such a fuss over it. The normal flu kills far more in the same time span.

You are completely right Thomas. So far it was been possible 60 people have died in whole world... Last year in the United states alone 1600 people died from regular influenza.
All swine flu is, is an evolved for of influenza which we have created an extremely potent vaccination for. Diseases and illness evolve and dissapear, they have throughout human history.... I'm not saying don't take care of it if you get it, but to normal healthy person even without the vaccination, you have nothing to worry about.

the levels are raised for several reasons but swine flu isn't any more dangerous than regular flu. during flu season, regular flu levels are raised as well

staying as far away from Mexico doesn't help either since the flu is all over the US and by the title of this thread...in Canada as well...it has hit many countries not even close to Mexico

I read a few article that make a good case for it starting in China then moving to Mexico.

where it starts....it really doesn't matter since it is all over the world. but I think I read that same article...I think
