Post your crummy job on here and all the fun that goes with it!

Most know what I do, for a living.

I don't think I need to post the ugly details.

But, at the end of the day or night, I'm glad I was there to help.

I get sick of the repetition, the mumbly and disorganized doctors. I am
so behind the scenes, the patients don't know of or appreciate the hard
work I do for them (I transcribe medical reports).

I love my job. I don't have the time I need to devote to it, though, to
make it more successful. Too busy most of the time to garner new
clients, etc.

davinci is right, the job market sucks. I worked with a professional job
hunter (through the state) last summer to find a job. I sent out dozens
of resumes in response to help wanted ads, never got one request for an
interview. Not one! I found the job I have by a fluke (my sister met
someone at her husband's church who works for the company I now work
for). It's not even funny! There are no jobs out there. I get no
benefits and have to pay $250/month to keep the health insurance I had
on my ex-husband's plan. No sick days, no vacation days, no nothing. In
January, I asked my boss for 1 day off in June--without pay!--for a
family reunion and she chewed me a new one.

Rivergirl, have you tried any one of the TONS of online medical
transcription companies? They're almost always seeking
transcriptionists.

links to...medical transcription companies?

Do a google (or whatever) search for "medical transcription companies"
and a whole slew of them will come up.

its 100 out side i feal all 100 degrees. the jobs can be rough at times
and the expectations of some customers can be a mess but like a magician
you must pull a rabbit out of the hat . dose the company show any love .
well lets just say . NO. but its the idea that some day they will miss
the water when its gone.
